CoLivingLab goes La Biennale di Venezia

The CoLivingLab is

  • a model for a plug-in co-housing / co-working space
  • a living lab to experiment with co-housing / co-working practices
  • an incubator for co-housing / co-working projects

The intermediate use project at the site of the Merkurgarten community garden in Zürich-Hottingen combines features of successful collaborative housing, coworking spaces and living labs to realize a pioneering building type.

The building serves as a pilot project for the zero carbon building element as well.

We were invited to discuss the CoLivingLab project at the #ThisIsACo-op – Co-housing Practices/ Inventing prototypes for Athens workshop series at the 15th International Architecture Exhibition-La Biennale di Venezia.
